PS. With love

In the summer of 2025, I was asked to come up with some ideas and artwork for flags and banners to celebrate Park Street and the Triangle, an iconic area in the centre of the city. These are streets that I walked up when I was five or six. Now I walk up Park Street with my own grandchildren. The images celebrate detail: cultural heritage, iconic shops, art, music and protest (all things that Bristol does well). Bristol is a welcoming and diverse city and the patterns and colours are inspired by this. It was brilliant to work once more with my old friend Hannah Cousins who cut linos for each image.
